Happy Labor weekend, everyone! I hope everyone had a relaxing and calming three-day weekend as we get ready for the last stretch, the most important stretch. What I mean is the election has truly started for most people. This might be a shock but we need to realize everyone reading this article has a niche interest, politics. So all the despair, fear, anger, excitment and joy that we have experienced this summer, most people have no idea. Hell some people might not even know that President Biden decided to not run for re-election anymore. But that means if there’s a time to get involved, it’s now.
That does not mean that all of Kamala’s momentum doesn’t matter, it does. We now have the energy, the manpower and the momentum on our side but that doesn’t mean this election is over. We have 2 months of hard work to do to crush Trump, Vance and every Republican downballot. To be optimistic, I truly believe IF we work hard, we can get a true trifecta. One that while not every Democratic congress member will share 100% of MVP Harris’ ideology, can at least negotiate with her in good will unlike the last trifecta we had with Manchin and Sinema in them.
What I mean by getting involved is you can either volunteer or donate from now till election day. There are many ways but you need to be smart about it. We need to volunteer/donate on races that have a chance of winning. That means ignoring long shots like the race to replace Greene. We have some Senate Races and House Races that we need to focus on. Personally I say if you live in any of these states and you have the time, physically volunteer otherwise do virtual volunteering like phonebanking or textbanking.
Anyone can help and right now victory is in our reach. Trust me when I say, the joy and relief when the candidate you helped win is euphoric. Imagine the feeling when Republicans are crushed and you helped seal their fate. The links to close senate and houses races are below,
You can read what I think about the Senate races below. I have revised my belief in Florida especially the Senate seat.
